This is students second attempt at writing a Fairy Tale and all work was completed in the last few weeks of term.
Students either worked individually, in pairs or in small groups. All work was co-constructed and the process involved
- building a word bank
- drafting up sentences linking to visuals and the sequence of the story
- editing drafted work and
- publishing a final copy.
Some groups were directed towards a set Fairy Tale to narrate whilst others were able to select from either
- Little Red Riding Hood
- Three Billy Goats and
- Three Little Pigs.
Some students unfortunately do not have permission to have their names or written work published on this site and these students have simply been represented by the identification of 'Student A', 'Student B', etc. I feel that it is important for these students to have their work published like everyone else, as they too were involved in this process, as the majority of these tales have been co-operatively written. They will know who they are.
Everyone should be extremely proud of what they have completed this term. You have all worked extremely hard and should be proud of yourselves.
