Term Three  

Ahoy there me hearties and welcome back to school for an exciting term of learning and activities.

We will be studying technology through our topic “It’s all around us” and our inquiry focus on pirates.  So look out for some creative and inspiring solutions to “pirate problems”.

This term, we are also exploring gymnastics, training for our cross country final on 16 September and towards the end of the term, we will begin athletics practice.  The cold, wet, rainy days will not stop us being active (well, we hope it doesn’t...) so make sure that PE Gear is packed every day!

Shiver me timbers!  Room 14 has already started their instructional writing for the term and creating their own pirate portraits – keep an eye out for the portraits of the crew to surface!  We are also going to start writing speeches in preparation for the Year Three Speech Finals on 14 September.
