During week six, the year three classes came together and had a fun morning where we had several relay races.

One of the exciting learning experiences we have had within our classroom was exploring music.  We discussed and looked at how the rhythm, beat, tempo and pitch can affect how we feel about the music we are listening to. During week eight, we worked in groups to create our own music to reflect different feelings we have...... it sure was noisy but we were able to create music to represent feeling excited, happy, angry, lonely, frustrated and sad.  

What a great start to 2011!
