Ambury Farm trip

The ESOL students that had their trip postponed due to the weather, will now be going on the trip to Ambury Farm on Tuesday 26 June 2018.
Rooms 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 21, 22, 23
Clothing: Warm/old clothing, gumboots, or sturdy closed in shoes, sweatshirt, rain jacket.
NO SCHOOL UNIFORM
School bag with morning tea, lunch, and a full water bottle.
Classes will attend with a teacher and one or two other adults per class.
We are due to leave school at 9.00 am and return to school by 2.30pm.
(Transport will be by public buses and school van)
The purpose of the trip is for students to explore the farm and have some hands on experiences with the farm animals.
They have pigs to pat, goats to feed, sheep to feel and hens to cluck over!
Children will learn about shearing and crutching in the wool shed, before exiting as a sheep would – down the sheep chute! Wheeee!
We will require some parent help for this trip, so if you are available please complete the form below. Unfortunately we are not able to have pre – schoolers come along with parent helpers.
